[Bandar Springhill, 10th December 2023] – MUI Group and JomRun in collaboration orchestrated a triumphant event – Springhill Run 2023 – that took place in the vibrant community of Bandar Springhill
The event, graced by VVIP guests including YTM Tunku Ali Redhauddin ibni Tuanku Muhriz, YB Nicole Ran Lee Koon (Negeri Sembilan State Exco of Perlacongan, Budaya & Culture), and YB Choo Ken Hwa (DUN Lukut), DCP Dato Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof (Ketua Polis Negeri Sembilan) proved to be a memorable occasion for participants and spectators alike.
With the resounding theme of “We Make It Happen,” the organizers demonstrated their commitment to fostering community engagement and promoting a healthy lifestyle. The event commenced at 6:30 am, attracting a diverse crowd of more than 2,000 to join. Notably, this number includes 500 students who were generously sponsored by The MUI Group, underlining the event’s dedication to promoting physical well-being among the youth.
The 4KM and 6KM routes offered a scenic and challenging experience, catering to both seasoned runners and those embarking on their fitness journey. The runners navigated through the picturesque landscape of Bandar Springhill, creating an electrifying atmosphere throughout the course.
In a dedication to ESG and community progress, MUI Group generously donated RM 10,000 to four nearby schools—SK Lukut, SJK(C) Springhill, SJK(T) Springhill, and SMK Yam Tuan. Additionally, MUI Group extended a donation of RM 5,000 to SJK(C) Chun Hua Lukut. These contributions showcase MUI Group’s unwavering commitment to nurturing education and empowering the youth for a promising future in the area.
The festivities reached their climax at 10:00am with an exciting lucky draw, featuring a grand prize of a 65-inch TV. The lucky draw not only added an element of excitement to the event but also served as a fitting conclusion to a day filled with camaraderie, fitness, and community spirit.
